At The Fulham Afterschool we have an independent entrance space at the secure premises of The Hurlingham Academy.

We have two spaces specific to the activities offered:

The 'Activity room': A space for Arts&Crafts Activities, a corner with cushions and armchairs and poufs.

The 'Homework room': A classroom ready for homework time.

The Fulham Afterschool also offers the option of a healthy and nutritious dinner every day at 5.45pm.

Please note that we can ensure the possibility of special dietary requirements (a form will be asked to be filled with the registration).

Philosophy

The Fulham Afterschool philosophy is being able to provide a safe, warm, secure and happy environment where children can play, have fun and learn.

Activity time:

Our staff will support child led, age appropriate, interactive activities that will enhance your child's emotional and physical development.
Most importantly your child will have fun as part of our activities programme.

Free activity for older children is organised around the library corner, where they can find a calm place to read and listen to music or to podcasts.

Learning time:

Our aim is to give children the exciting opportunity to learn new subjects or to deepen the knowledge of some subjects:

- We aim to create a supportive environment while the children do their homework or practice the essentials for the 11+ exams.

- We work to create an encouraging and exciting environment  for the children to learn a foreign language while enjoying themselves.

Charity work:

In parallel, we care deeply for our community and in this perspective, we donate a part of  the fees to Hospital Schools to

contribute as much as we can to providing education for children and young people aged 4–18 while they are in hospital or students who cannot access mainstream school due to their medical conditions.

Health & Safety

We create, and provide, a safe environment without a risk to the health and safety of children, staff and visitors.

We ensure Health and Safety is taken seriously by all members of staff and other people who are affected by the club’s activities.
